Nikos was one kickin' movie. It is a flat out 80's style party movie, that just can't be taken serious. But I think Geoghegan and Schnaas, the writer and director respectively, just wanted to make a fun gore-filled romp. They succeeded.

The special effects in Nikos shine as some of the best low-budget splatter FX ever. Even though the FX budget was low, Marcus Koch and Jesus Vega splatter shines. Intestines spill, people are ripped and cut in half, and blood flies all over the place. It was also great to see Felissa Rose back
in action. Wowza! She is one sexy lady!

Almost forgot the mention one great shower scene, you have a winner of a movie.

The one bad thing about Nikos is the first 20 minutes....they lag all to hell. but after that, all hell breaks loose and this gore fan was happy.
